Before finalizing export, please choose an Identifier for your pack. This will allow the Portrait Rework mod to identify your mod so your Portraits aren't accidentally overwritten. This Identifier will then be appended to the end of the file names.
If you aren't sure what to use, a good suggestion is to use the ID of your mod in its package.xml
If you ARE trying to overwrite Portraits from another mod, simply input the exact same Identifier they used for their images here.
How to Use
Getting Started
1. Load Images: Drag & drop your image files anywhere onto the window, or use the "Load Images" button in the top-right corner.
2. Tagging: With the selections on the right of the image section, you can add Tags to images so the Portrait Rework Project mod can make use of them.
3. Keybinds & Shortcuts:
Use Copy Above to copy tags from the previous image to the current one.
Use the thumbnail hover buttons (or the toolbar) to Copy and Paste settings quickly.
CTRL+C copies the current image’s settings, while CTRL+V pastes onto the current image.
CTRL+SHIFT+V pastes onto all loaded images.
Hover the gallery and use the mouse wheel to move through images. You can also use Up/Down or W/S.
⚠️ Important Note on Title IDs
The game uses multiple Title IDs for NPC types that you might assume are the same. For example, in Mysilia, some NPCs are classified internally as
Elea Citizen, but their visible Title is just "XYZ the Citizen".
If you only select the Citizen title tag, these Elea Citizens will not use Citizen portraits, even if you select all races, sexes, etc.
This is fine if you want that much fine grain control, but
If you wanted to have ALL Citizen within Mysilia use Citizen Portraits, you'd need to select both Citizen and Elea Citizen together.
Exporting
When finished, click the Export Zip button in the top-right. This will bundle your images with a 'portraitReworkRules.cfg' file containing all your chosen rules/tags.
